Over the years, the Foundation has supported many talented students who came to study in the San Mateo
Community College District (San Mateo Colleges of Silicon Valley). Today, many students who received the
scholarships have transferred to amazing and selective universities, such as UC Berkeley, UCLA, Arizona State
University, among others. They came from many different countries, with
different economic means, but they have had one thing in common, that is their “open mind” to experience community colleges before
transferring to universities. They have added much desired diversity and contributed to the local communities with values so far beyond any
attempts to measure.
